HISTORY
Founded as Blakey & Associates, Inc. in 1993 by Marion Blakey, the present Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, the firm specializes in transportation and education but serves a variety of industries. Two senior consultants, Jeff Agnew and Leslie Blakey, took over the firm in 2001, when President Bush tapped Marion Blakey to be Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board.

Washington, D.C.–based Chambers, Conlon & Hartwell, Inc. [link], a government affairs management firm, became a majority owner of Blakey & Agnew, LLC, in 2002, opening new doors for collaboration. Founded in 1982, CC&H has strong relationships in the federal city and enjoys notable success in promoting and protecting its clients’ interests. The firm provides a wide variety government affairs services to its clients, including government relations, management, reporting and analysis, assistance in mergers and acquisitions, grassroots and political fundraising management, legislative earmarks and government loan and grant applications.
